Bob,
I seem to recall that I have you by a bit in both the height and weight departments. The saddle was shaped okay for me, but there were some very uncomfortable pressure points in the stock seat, plus it leaned me into the tank. The new foam is lower and leans me toward the back of the bike, relieving the problem of the aforementioned pressure points. I still take the bike on longer rides, and will have to do so solely now, as the touring bike is for sale (again).
